MENDING MONDAY IS COMING! Don’t toss it! Mend it! Starting in October, join at the library for Mending Mondays, where we’ll learn simple, useful ways to give well-loved clothing a little more life. Help will be on hand to teach you the basics. Try something new! Repair. Reuse. Keep the favourites.

A planner from County of Renfrew will be back in our office Wednesday November 4th, from 9:30 am to 3 pm. If you would like to speak to them regarding your planning matter (severance, lot addition, minor variance, zoning by-law amendment, etc.), please call the municipal office (613) 432-2885 to book your appointment!  

Open Jam Sessions - Two different locations! Barr Line Community Center - every second Monday of the month at 1pm starting on September 14th Golden Lake Community Center - every second Monday of the month at 1pm starting September 28th!

Senior Active Living Health Fair will be taking place on Thursday Nov 12, 2026, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm with a light lunch being provided. This event will be held at the Cobden Agricultural hall at 43 Astrolabe road, Cobden. Trade show of exhibitors, interactive workshops and presentations throughout the day.

All sites are closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day and Canada Day. Osceola Landfill will reopen Sunday December 27th - 10am to 4 pm.  

January 15, 2027 is the last day to submit a receipt for Food Cycler reimbursement for year 2026.   Food Cycler has to be purchased between January 1 - December 31, 2026
